How do we cultivate a lifestyle of enjoying the Word?

BE CURIOUS.

There are so so many treasures and gems in the Word of God - we can learn so much about His nature and ways from reading it. The Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Yet sometimes it is hard to maintain a habit to read, devour, and treasure it.
We've heard it said many times: read your Bible.
And we all know it is important and necessary. But we know that this discipline and love does not birth out of simply hearing a sermon or an instruction from a figure of authority.
How can we inspire each other to enjoy the Word?
Inspire curiosity in one another. Tell stories. Ask questions - what does the Author mean? Why this choice of words? Discover the context and root words. What do they really mean?
Take yourself and your tribe on an adventure to dive deeper - not just reciting the words on the pages - but figuring WHY the words are on those pages.
You'll be surprised at what you might find. Develop an appetite for it (by reading more). Keep seeking, keep uncovering, keep being wowed by its truths.
