You can, and you should cry out to God

Crying out to God in dark times is something that we see throughout Scripture. God values us so much, and He understands our feelings. He hears us, and He empathises with us.

God's desire is for us to have a relationship that is real and from the heart. We pray that today, you will be able to find great comfort knowing that every time you cry out to God, He hears your cries. *hugs

It takes both faith and humility to share our heart's concerns and desires out loud. Crying out to God is a way for us to express our trust in His ability and willingness to help. When we call upon and cry out to Him, we are also laying down our pride and an attitude of self-sufficiency.

The Bible also assures us that God hears our cries and responds!

I was crying out to the Lord with my voice, and He answered me from His holy mountain.– Psalm 3:4 NASB

Remember: There is strength in just speaking His name!

Responses may not be immediate at times, and sometimes, difficult situations might even be allowed to remain for His good purposes... But one thing we can know for sure is this –

We can always count on His comfort and presence, and His perfect timing ◡̈

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

Romans 8:28 NIV
