3 bible verses for hope during life's trials

Difficult seasons in life can be excruciatingly lonely and difficult. We must fight to keep not just a positive attitude but a Christ-centered one as we step out in faith and cling tightly to God for miracles.

Here are 3 promises from the Bible that we pray will bring you hope and comfort.

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.
– Romans 5:3-4

The hard times in life gives us incredible spiritual stamina – a stamina that is beneficial for equipping us for the next life struggle we deal with. The only way to build character is through enduring these hard times.

I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all fullness of life and power that comes from God.
– Ephesians 3:16-19

God loves you. And the beautiful thing about God's love is that we don't need to understand it or analyse the fact that it's bigger than we could ever hope or imagine. We just need to enjoy it.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with His comfort through Christ.
– 2 Corinthians 1:3-5

He has promised that He does not only comfort us during life's difficulties, He also equips us through our suffering to be able to minister to others on this topic. Suffering is God's amazing way for us to be transformed so we can help others in the future!

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
