Circuit Breaker didn't break them

Since Covid-19 and circuit breaker started, I have been hearing so many stories about couples breaking up or families getting into fights. Some couples struggle with being apart for too long, while some families struggle with being together too much.  I’ve even come across news articles about the predicted surge of divorce cases after the quarantine is over. The reason cited was that the increased interactions led to increased friction and hence, increased conflicts.  The Bible says a lot about conflict management. Ephesians 4:26 says, ‘Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger.’ Matthew 5:24 says, ‘Leave your gift there before the altar and go. Monuments of Sin

Sin is wrong and unholy. Yet, there are times in the past, moments of sin, upon which we look back with a certain nostalgia and go, "Yeah, those were the days. They were fun. They were pleasurable.” We sigh as we drift off in sweet reminiscence. And then, snapping back to the reality of our salvation, we go, “But... but... I don't live that life anymore! I belong to God now." We give a big smile to hide our feelings. ... Even though we may have turned away from our old lifestyles and repented, some of us had already built monuments on some of those moments.

How to Eliminate Busyness and Enjoy Good Success

Our God isn’t fascinated or pleased by busyness; He’s moved by love. Let’s not forget the God who loves us and pursues us relentlessly. At the end of the day, we depend wholly on Him for everything.God’s way of good success is not a ceaseless toil, motivated by the fear of missing out, failure, or lack; at the expense of family time, health, and the quality of relationships, but one of restful increase and unceasing fruitfulness.
